Normally, for a regular squat your legs are shoulder width apart, which we’ve covered: https://youtu.be/bOYswg9EgGg And wide-leg or sumo squats, which we’ve also covered: https://youtu.be/_DGy72XS1AI So, naturally, I need to show you what the ski squat looks like too. It’s very similar, except this version of the squat has you in a skier position with both feet together. That sounds easy, but balance is key. You still want to squat as deep as you can while keeping your balance. This will target your thighs and glutes, but still it your quads (just differently). Back is straight, head neutral, and arms are out in front if you are not using weights. You can put them on your hips, but you might find it’s easier to balance if you have them in front of you as a counter weight. Push up through your heels and squeeze at the top. With your legs together, you may feel like locking out your knees, but try your best not to do that. Stay fluid through the move and steady.
