Lastly pour 3 cups of water and give it a quick stir. Cover the lid and place the pressure cooker on high flame. After the 1st whistle, lower the flame and let the chicken cook on low heat for another 8-10 minutes. After 10 minutes, switch off the gas and open the lid once all the steam has released.
