I tried to give up chocolate to lose weight Here’s what I 𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭 would happen (𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘣𝘵𝘸, 𝘐’𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘐’𝘮 𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘈𝘓𝘓 ‘𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵/𝘫𝘶𝘯𝘬’ 𝘧𝘰𝘰𝘥) ☑️ Lose weight ☑️ Get ‘skinny’ ☑️ Feel super body confident What actually happened was: ❌ I felt restricted and deprived ❌ I got stuck in a cycle of restrict, overeat, guilt, repeat 🔁 ❌ My relationship with food just got worse I created all these weird rules around food: ✏️ No ‘junk food’ on weekdays ✏️ No chocolate whilst trying to lose weight ✏️ If you overeat then you have to burn it off on the cross trainer Obviously none of those rules did what they were supposed to And I finally got to the point where I was fed up with it and thought enough is enough - I can’t live my life like this anymore ✨So I completely changed my approach✨ ✅ I stopped calorie counting ✅ I stopped limiting and restricting what food I was ‘allowed’ to eat ✅ I took my focus away from weight loss and instead put my energy into eating to FUEL and NOURISH my body Pretty soon after making that switch I was out of the binge-restrict cycle I was no longer feeling deprived I felt AMAZING in myself And I was actually eating ‘treat/junk’ food WAY less (hardly at all at one point) because it was a CHOICE As soon as NO food was off limits and everything became a choice, I no longer even wanted to eat the ‘treat/junk’ foods You can get to that point too If you do want help getting to that point, hit subscribe and I can see hitting you with those value bombs 💣
